THE SKATEBOT AT CROSS VIDEO DAYS 2013 PARIS (EN)

Cross Video Days is Europe's first crossmedia market which takes place in Paris. Every year from all founders for two days in Paris. This year SkateBoat -one of the first crossmedia projects of Poland- got also the privilege to attend the Cross Video Days. The SkateBoat team is going be pitching the project and meet international crossmedia producers and investors. The project SkateBoat tells a refreshed story of skateboarding and its history in Lodz. Until now the SkateBoat project has few well developed stages which produced a 30 min Polish National Film School in Lodz (PWSFTViT).The next aim of the SkateBoatteam in Paris will be introducing the project documentary, a making off clip, an official webpage, a facebook fan page with over 2500 fans, a pilot of an online game and a live society which follows the project. Those pilot stages were funded by First Motion and European Union and accomplished with the partnerships of Lodz Film Comission.

The core team of SkateBoat includes the following names:  Leyla Cömert, Anita Naqvi-Kwiatkowska and Róża Misztela.

Cross Video Days is in partnership with Filmteractive Festival which takes place in Lodz, Poland.

Granica/Them/Die Grenzgang

Projekt LeLe Crossmedia Production pod tytułem Granica to film dokumentalny poruszający temat, tego jak współcześnie postrzegany jest nazista. Film oscyluje wokół pytania KIM JEST NAZISTA? To co interesujące dla reżyserki filmu Róży Miszteli to, to w jaki sposób ludzie współcześnie postrzegany jest problem nazizmu a także tego kim człowiek określony tym mianem był/jest. Czy możemy sobie wyobrazić nazistę spacerującego po Krakowskim Przedmieściu w Warszawie, po Piotrkowskiej w Łodzi, po Starym Mieście w Krakowie czy po Stepahnplatz w Wiedniu?

Niektóre odpowiedzi podczas próbnych wywiadów zdołały zszokować, a niektóre nawet przerazić.

Historians and politicians may set up definitions and argue but for me, there was no answer anymore. And I have to ask myself again: what is a Nazi? I recall a story of my German friend. We studied together at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. He told me that, once on the party, he had fallen asleep, he was drunk of course, they all were. When he woke up, he went to a bathroom, he looked at himself in the mirror and realized that someone drew “ Hitler’s mustache” below his nose. A joke, you know.
